A limit of ducks for three
hunters makes for a pretty good morning. Doc Frederick, Troy
Rohrbach and myself limited-out on a Saskatchewan pot-hole in the
morning, then caught a mess of Pike and Walleye. Troy finished
the evening off by arrowing a 300lb. Black Bear---what a day!
A tom in full strut is a sight to behold. But out in the open like this, he won't get too old.
Sometimes a few soft clucks (and a model 12) is all you need to put a turkey in the roaster.
A morning with mallards is a great way to start a fall day!
